The story and strategy of this gem are fine, but my iPad mini isnt a platform Id recommend playing this game on. The load times and crashes consistently dissuade me from engaging in what has been good gameplay and story.

This App does not start up. Im using the latest iPad mini 2 and still it doesnt work. Pls beware until they can stabilize the build.

This is a great strategy game with wonderful graphics, an in depth story, and challenging game play. It runs great in ios8 on original iPad mini. However, I do find on the mini that the controls to select movement and attach locations can be tricky. There is also no way to cancel movement of you end up in the wrong spot. So far I am really enjoying the game! Thanks for bringing to iOS!

Stutters and crushes all the time at iP6+ and iOS8.1. Im stuck at a fight that causes the game to crush constantly. Dont buy until they fix technical issues.

A must-play Indie title. Its beautifull, interesting and emotionally engaging. The storyline is great, and the combat system seems simple, but is accualy quite complex and well designed. It might lack some tutorial-ish content, if youre not someone who might enjoy trying to figure out the details on youre own. One could argue, that the price is a bit steep, but id rather pay this much for a game that really moved me that for some mindless junk you forget the second you turn it off. Cant wait for the next part, hope theyll keep up the good work.

I have to switch the subtitles option on every time the game starts. I dont know if the problem in the game or game center but achievements I get dont score up any points. There is still 0/400 points in the game center no meter Ive unlocked bunch of them. And game lags a little on my iPad mini with retina. Excellent game, but port has some minor flaws.

Stops opening only stoic logo and black screen after. Please fix it

Very beautiful and magic game! No other words... Waiting for a sequel! (With more story and deep gameplay). An Italian translation would be appreciated.

Theres way too much plot to follow. Come on this is a game for smartphones not for consoles. On my phone I want something casual, instead here I am constantly anxious about making the right choice.

Played this a long time ago; bought it for iPhone just now when I found out Part 2 was coming soon. My only mistake here is now Im waiting for it to come to iOS! Amazing game, gripping storyline, an ironman RPG where decisions matter and consequences abound.

AMAZING a must play game in my book

I am one of those iOS gamers that plays a good number of games, but rarely reviews them. However, the Banner Saga is so insanely good, I just HAD to share. First off, Im not a massive fan of turn-based strategy games, but the Banner Saga had me enthralled throughout the whole game (for both my playthroughs) due to its downright breathtaking hand-painted visuals, moving soundtrack and, most of all, riveting storyline. Since the story is so well-written and gripping, and all your in-game decisions affect the beloved characters, what would have been mediocre battles become emotionally charged conflicts with valuable lives hanging in the balance. I legit cant stress enough how much of a work of art this game is...I literally shed tears at the ending both times (which were different, I might add). If you havent played due to the larger pricetag, just yolo and do it! It will support a smashing indie studio and give you a downright killer game. Cant wait for Banner Saga 2 on iOS!!

But you broke it with the latest patch, it is unplayable. Get into a battle and cant see any of the combatants, they look like broken holograms or something... Load times are still abysmal... I was having such a good time with the game till the patch, please fix
