This is honestly one of the best mobile games out there. Masterful graphics and gameplay make this worth every cent. I cant wait for the second one to come out for mobile.

Main reason for writing this review is the appreciation for the developer not charging more money for different episodes. One reasonable fee covers the entire game. Thats also the main reason I have made this purchase. Now time to enjoy this great game some more !!!

I have this on PC but wanted it on my phone, its such a good game. However, the characters are currently glitchy and strange and the frame rate skips really bad. I hope this gets fixed soon because it really is a great game. I just cant recommend it in this state.

I saw that the rating of is game was good and I have been curious about it for several years now. Sadly, I was disappointed with how it has turned out so far. As other reviewers have mentioned the loading times are ludicrously long and the battle system seems wrong. The characters really do look like theyre holograms or something. Hopefully there will be a patch to fix this problem soon. I hope that I will have the opportunity to rewrite this review and give it a more positive rating that it likely deserved before the May update.

I was excited about this game, but then after the first fight, it left me on a screen showing how much "renown" I had received, and didnt let me progress further. I either want this bug fixed, or my money back

Dialogue, graphics, gameplay, story, mood... all incredible. This game is a shining example of what games as art can achieve.

Not just the best port from PC. One of the best games on IOS.

Such an amazing game and accomplishment for the developers. Strong story narrative and character development. XCOM-like fight mechanics. You really start to care about the denizens of this realm.

Good for one play (which doesnt take very long) tried playing through again making different choices but never got the sense of it being any different. Most decisions seem to have very little impact.

This game had so many good reviews and I love Vikings but; I just cant get into this game. Ive tried three times. I find the battle mechanics clumsy and confusing. I dont find the story compelling enough to make me stick with it. Not a good purchase for me.

This is the worst rpg Ive ever played. Read below the review titled "incomplete". I wish I could get my money back. So repetitive and boring. Most of the game is just spent watching a wagon roll slowly across the screen.

Its good, but not legendary The good: beautiful artwork in the game. A storyline better than most games. A new unique universe. An RPG that doesnt treat the player like a child watching Saturday morning cartoons. Lots of choices are offered to the player throughout the game are difficult to decide, and make big differences. The bad: Very little strategy is necessary in combat with their system. Combat is too simple. The classes are not weighted correctly, some are just pointless. The lettering in the towns is difficult to see. When you have no more food, you cant do anything at all about it but watch as people die off. For example, could we maybe dismiss some of the tribe somehow? Often, its difficult to remember who is who because the names are so unusual, and I often was lost in what the heck was going on. At the end of the game, there are many loose ends which are never addressed. Also, you dont even have enough time to level up at least one character who is introduced very late into the game. Also, could we please fast forward through the walking parts? Another thing, make the signs on the town maps easier to read for us iPhone players.

Yes yes, very pretty and all that, but its hardly a game, having been through various iterations there is little/no difference in the outcomes, pick just about any options and it all comes down to apparent luck, or if there is some actual influence you can have on the game then its so unclear that it amounts to the same as luck. Its fine if you dont mind paying this money for a well decorated book with slightly annoying and somewhat pointless interludes of battle.

Im fan of RPG and strategy games. Those games genre is my favorite. I have no idea why so many people like this game. I can describe this game with a one word - Boring!

This game took me back to my RPG roots of final fantasy tactics. Loved the whole thing. My biggest complaint is the inability to go off trail so to speak and explore the world. I will say it seems a bit short and a lot of ppl complain its to short for the price but Id say I got more entertainment out of it then I would if I spent the same amount on a pay as u play like clash of clans. My only complaint is it occasional crashed. But no more than other apps like Netflix probably 2 times in ten hours

As a game it is quite good. The Oregon Trail motif had worked for a long time and it is executed well here as a good update in concept. However, be prepared to watch your group crawl across the landscape at length. Over and over. With no option to skip any cut scene, ever. After a hundred times it just wasnt worth it to play anymore. Who has the appetite for that kind of repetition? Too bad. Watching ant-sized protagonists voyage through the snow get old fairly fast. Devs, provide a skip-to-next-encounter button and youd get 5 stars.
