Garbage. Waste of money
I want to play,so bought banner saga. Please support for iPhone 6 ios9. I am waiting for support.m(_ _)m
Very good game. But I cant pass the first battle because game crash. Its very bad. Please fix it.
Im disappointed. The game is glitching for me and greatly affects gameplay. I cant tell who the characters are because theyre holographic and they only show a messed up portion of each units body. This looks like an awesome game, but it isnt working for me :(
Exceptional and original title from a small studio that has provided phenomenal support over time. An app is only as good its updates. I would love to see more developers of this caliber on iOS. Cant wait for Banner Saga 2!
Perfect for iPad, great game
Fun game, not much issues, the storyline was very interesting and kept you occupied, fun game, way up there for an app game
Bought this app to see if it lived up to the hype and it will not even load.. Disgusted and disappointed. Rip off!
Used to run beautifully. Now cutscenes run super choppy. On a 6+ currently.
I hear great things about this game but it wont even open on my, fully updated, iPhone 6.
This game is the best example of playing a novel that I have experienced. Beautiful and compelling.
Gameplay is solid, uninventive turned based tactics . The art, which is hand drawn . Makes this a 5. There is love in every animation of this game/visual novel.
I actually found the overall quality/playability of this little gem to be superior to a SLEW of larger, obscenely funded console games. It mixes some beautifully animated D&D board game style mechanics with decision trees reminiscent of those "Choose your Own Adventure" books from the 80s. Every battle & decision carries sobering consequences, thus successfully immersing the player in a gaming universe where losses are often, but victory is like delicious candy. Brilliantly done!
This game is truly stunning. It combines beautiful artwork and rendering with challenging gameplay and an engaging story. First of all, the artwork. The caravan scenes are stunning. Their backdrops are stunning. The character animations are stunning. What else can I say. The artistry team here has really done an amazing job capturing the stoic beauty of this land. Plus the music is fantastic. Next, the challenging gameplay. Although at first there is a lot to learn, grasping the mechanics and slowly developing a tactic and strategy is very fulfilling. Pulling off a fantastic maneuver is an incredibly rewarding experience. Its difficult, but the difficulty is in line with the narrative. And finally, the story. This game is amazingly well written. The story has so many twists, and gets deeper and darker the further you go along. Its honestly a story I would read in a book, but combine that with the stunning visuals and the direct affect you have on the story itself and you have yourself a winning combination. Ive heard reports of buggy games, but Ive never had that problem. Just make sure you have enough storage. Do yourself a favor and get this game, even if its just to support the developers who obviously poured their heart into this game.
I can honestly say Im very excited for banner saga 2. Im already waiting for it on iOS. This game combine two elements that just havent been paired together lately except disappointing jrpgs. Turn based gaming and RPGs. I have one major issue however the loading and framework is fine for me, but Tryggvi isnt available on my second play through. Im not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but Ive paid full price for this game and even though its worth it I expect all of the content.
Im on the iPad Pro 9.7 with iOS 9.3.2 and this game plays the cutscenes in low resolution and stutters while doing it, also tends to crash often. Wasnt an issue one previous versions of the game, and I get the feeling they dont read their own reviews, its been awhile since the last patch and Im not the only one complaining
The cut scenes are choppy. It completely takes you out of the moment and has ruined the story for me. Want my money back.
Too short. Lots of leveling up and tough, life/death decisions and use of supplies and items, all for it to be over in a few short hours. What was it all for? Still a great looking game and engaging characters.
This game is probably great on PC, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, but its difficult to play on 5/5S/5C/SE due to scaling.
I was thoroughly disappointed with the length of the game. In all honesty, there isnt a lot of choices you make in the game that drastically alter you game. Much of the time, it gives you 3 or 4 options but it becomes obvious the game wants you to choose a certain one. There really isnt as much replay value either. I really wished I would have saved my $5
