Banner saga is a beautiful experience and journey through an emotional story.

Other reviews will point out some short comings of the, which are true, but this game delivers as a truly immersive alternative to the mindless level-and-kill games out there. You definitely feel part of the story line. The music, the graphics, the voice work are all masterfully done. Dont worry about the little things that detract, get your iPad out, sit on the couch, and prepare to not leave either for hours.

This game is sorely overrated. Loading between scenes is incredible slow. The "amazing" art looks like 1980s cartoons; flat outlines filled with single colors. The story line is uninteresting and fails to grab interest. The ortho combat is clumsy with moves being blocked by other icons. Really disappointed considering all hype surrounding it.

I always wanted to buy this game in Xbox one but was hesitant because it was 19.99. Today I just randomly Google searched it and found out it was available for iOS for 4.99. Worth it. Good graphics and animation. I am definitely a happy camper.

I heard so much good things about this game originally developed for PC but never had a chance to play it. So the other day I bought this on iPhone and immediately regretted it. The game might have been a killer on PC but absolutely horrible on mobile. The developer never even bother to do any optimization on mobile and its very horrible user experience overall. I guess the wisdom of only buy a game on its original platform should be something we always keep in mind.

The Banner Saga was originally a PC game. It works great on iPhone. The artwork is beautiful and the music is marvelous. There is a lot of dialogue and the choices you make really impact the game. The combat system is very interesting. It takes a whole new look at tactical turn-based combat. This game deserves 5 stars. The only way you would not love this game is if you is if you dont like reading. Get this game now!

I definitively have to say this is an excellent game. The lore is different to what you normally see, the art is unique, the story is well told, and it does very well being a PC port after all; Oh and not to forget the music! Its worth a try

This game is haunting and atmospheric, with excellent music and voice over, a unique fantasy setting, breathtaking landscapes, and thats not even the gameplay! For a turn-based strategy game it ROCKS - thoughtful and different from other games, you have to pay attention. This game is unstoppable, with a brilliant, dynamic story that gives real consequence, and great replay possibilities. Love it and cant wait for the sequels as well!

This game is amazing. The art style is absolutely stunning, while the story is enough to keep me coming back. The decisions you make genuinely do change how the game plays out, and you feel a bond with the characters. 5/5

I finished Banner Saga craving more. The developers did a great job on this game. I love all the lore and setting and environment.
